Our challenge today!
We are taught all through our life to set goals and to strive to achieve the most that we can out of life. This is a good thing! The problem arises when our goals and achievements take away our focus from what matters. Each person has a different idea of what matters. What are you looking to achieve? What are you hoping for in life? How will you answer these questions? Culture, Lifestyle, Status, all these and more are a part of helping us set our goals, but will this matter? What matters, is Jesus will be coming soon! Are you watching and waiting? Do you make your decisions or set your goals based upon this fact? When we remember to include Jesus into our life then life is much different, what seemed to matter doesn't matter anymore and what matters the most becomes our happiness.
Do all that you do as unto the Lord and remember that His appearing will be soon!
